Cotton Ball Painting

The Wildcats got to practice their fine motor skills by dotting paint with cotton balls that were held by clothespins . Many of the children liked touching the cotton ball as it was soft and fluffy which was the texture of the week.

Oats and Beans and Barley Grow

The texture of the week was “grainy,” so we Looked to an old favorite for guidance. We sang “Oats and Beans and Barley Grow” on the carpet. On the table, we had dry and wet oats, a mix of beans, and “barley” (flax seed). We felt the different textures, and we shared nicely!
